Meghan's engagement ring is simple and outstanding thanks to its sleek design. All the emphasis is on the beauty of the 3 stones. At the centre, a large, cushion cut diamond is sided by two round diamonds coming from Princess Diana's jewelry collection.  The magnificent cushion cut diamond - which looks to be 5 carats - was sourced by Prince Harry in Botswana, where the couple spent a holiday. The two round diamonds could approximately be 0.50 carats.

While the band is yellow gold, the stone's set is white gold or probably platinum, to keep the extra white color of the diamonds untouched. The stones are set with prongs, so to reveal all their sparkling beauty.

An engagement ring is not a ring as any other: it has a special meaning because it is the symbol of the eternal promise of love. It should reveal care and attention to the beloved who will receive it. And Prince Harry showed all his care, making this ring a very special one! The Prince himself deigned the ring, sourced the central diamond and he chooses the two diamonds from a brooch of his mother's collection "to make sure that she's with us on this crazy journey together,' Harry explained to the BBC.

When it comes to diamonds, if you are not a fan of pavé, you can get that perfect lady-look with a pair of studs. Otherwise,  you can choose  a  pair of beautiful pearls simply set in white gold.

If you go for pearls, make sure they are really shiny and choose the colour of white that best suits your complexion (yes, pearls come in many shades of white!). To get that extra light beam, possibly avoid the ivory/cream tone of colors and prefer a cooler shade like white/grey.
