Wandering among  the beautifully decorated Christmas stalls to get into the holiday mood, I could not help but notice this young couple.  

 

 

 

"From the first holiday we spent together the tree was something special to us. The tree had rules: First it had to be a tree that was gifted or had unique attachment to us. Second all ornaments must be gifted as well. This year we are granted with a blessing that will change our lives more than we can imagine. We have always loved our furry children; yet the dog in the image was more than my first dog. He is my best friend.  Since conception he has been a friend and watchmen to our son."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The photographer Jake Niemeyer was called for a Christmas shooting, to capture the true essence of a Christmas morning of this adorable couple, her sister and husband. She wanted her and her beau to be in their pyjamas along with the pets, enjoing the spirit of the morning. He admitted it was difficult since the young puppy was energetic and the cat wanted nothing to do with anyone. The dog decided he'd try some of Jake’s sister's coffee, and her surprised face as he's going after the other was priceless. As the photographer, I love happy “accidents” like this, Unforseen joyful moment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is Christmas all about? To me the answer is one and one only… Love, sharing love.

The photo of this family, sharing the Christmas custom of baking gingerbread, altogether, having great time, everyone has their own task to perform and finally sharing the result of a family day. This is meaningful to me.

 

 

 

 

Ever since I was a just a girl I loved this time of year, the feeling that any dream could come true; many years later I still believe it. I am the kind of person who loves to watch all the Christmassy movies, I am addicted to love stories and happy endings, and I made my profession out them.

This new column will make us dream, get into the magic of Christmas.
